Beer descriptions

Dark ale – brewed within the general porter style parameters which have proven so popular in the West, will have a distinct roasted – chocolate flavor, nicely balanced with the mild-spicy hop nose characteristic of premium hops. This ale will be fairly dry, medium bodied and quite dark with ruby-red tints around the edges. Our experience with the many different porters and dark a les being produced throughout the United States, leads us to anticipate that this ale will be very popular with beer drinkers who enjoy traditional, dark British porters, stouts, and brown ales.

Old World Wit – Wit is identification for Belgium Wheat beer. Old World Wit is a pale golden, tart, and refreshing style. Our Wit is of the classic variety naturally spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel.

Ingredients: 2-row pale malt, white wheat, Saaz hops, orange peel, and coriander.

IBU’s: 14.00
Original Gravity: 12.5 Plato
Alcohol by Volume: 6.0%
Yeast: WIP400

Old World Nitro Blonde – Our golden ale that is clear, crisp, and dry, with low-to-medium bitterness and aroma. Semisweet from the special European malts used in the mashing process.

Ingredients – 2-Row Barley, Munich, Golden Wheat

Original Gravity: 11.5 Plato
Yeast: WIP001

Old World Red Ale – a hoppy, Northern European red ale. Massive amounts of crystal hops gives the malty red a floral and spicy aroma. Finishes with a malty sweetness, this is second to none.

Ingrediants: 2-row barley, Pale and Vienna grains, c-60, amber and wheat. Columbus and Saaz hops.

Alcohol by volume: 6.8%
